Description
Foyle Farm House is a house dating from the 16th century, with 17th and 19th century extensions at the ends and rear. It is timber framed on a rendered plinth, with red and blue brick infill, and has a plain tiled roof featuring a ridge stack to the left of center and an offset stack on the right side of the left-hand return wing. The house is two storeys high, with a recessed central range and gabled return wings at both ends, the larger wing being on the left. The first floor has five leaded casement windows. The central door is located behind a glazed porch with a pent roof, which spans the center of the ground floor between the end wings. There is a single-storey 20th century extension on the right end and another extension set back on the left end, which has a greenhouse attached. At the rear, square panel framing is visible, along with a tile-hung gable on the right.
Inside, there is a stop-chamfered main ceiling beam on the ground floor to the left, a deep brick fireplace with a wooden lintel, and visible bracing and framing on the first floor.
