Description
Chobham Park House is a house dating from around 1700, which incorporates older materials and features extensions added in 1908 that match the original style. The building is constructed of brown and red brick with a plain tiled roof that includes bands of fishscale tiling. It has two storeys set on a rendered plinth, with a plat band above the ground floor and a wooden moulded eaves board. There are end stacks to the right and a square stack at the rear with an oversailing top. The front is symmetrical with five bays, featuring 20th-century glazing bar sash windows in moulded boxes, and those on the ground floor are set under gauged brick heads. A central glazed door is located in a recessed porch with a heavy panelled strip surround beneath a projecting hood. The left side of the house has an angle bay, while there is a parallel range at the rear and 20th-century extensions set back to the right. Inside, the house has old ceiling beams and a deep fireplace. It is situated on an old moated site.
