Description

No. 114 on Church Street is a building from the mid to late 18th century. It is two storeys high and constructed of yellow brick, featuring yellow brick flat arches and a parapet front. The roof is modern and tiled, with two dormers that have Yorkshire sash windows. The building has four windows in total, with glazing bar sashes on the first floor and plate glass sashes on the ground floor. The original central pedimented doorpiece has been removed, and a Doric doorway is now located at the side. This doorway is adorned with fluted pilasters and a panelled door, along with a decorative frieze. The rear, or west gable end, displays rough timber-framing with tumbled brick infills.
