Description

14 Fox Lane North is an early to mid-18th century house. The front elevation is painted and rendered, featuring platbands separating the ground and first floors. A wooden modillion eaves cornice runs along the top, above a hipped roof covered in plain tiles, with two gabled dormers and a chimney stack at the left end. The house is two storeys and has an attic, with three windows. The first-floor windows are glazing bar sashes. The centre ground-floor window has a single sash without glazing bars, while the outer ground-floor windows are C19 paired sashes with a single vertical glazing bar in the upper part only. There are three doors, one to the left of each window. The rear elevation comprises a taller, mid to late 19th-century block with a slate roof and ridge cresting, and a centrally placed ridge stack. It has three storeys and three windows, all with glazing bar sashes on the first and second floors. Various single-storey extensions and outbuildings are located at the rear.
