Description
No. 5 High Street is a restaurant that was originally a house, built in the early 19th century and altered in the 20th century. The building is constructed of brick, with a stucco finish featuring incised lines on the front elevation, while the other side is painted. It has a hipped tiled roof and stands two storeys high with three windows. There are two 16-pane sash windows and one central tripartite sash window with 20 panes. On the ground floor, two of the windows are larger and have moulded architraves. A 20th-century wooden square projecting bay with a large canopy is supported by four wooden supports. There is one chimney located forward of the ridge.
