Description
Tower Service Station is a service station built around 1928-29 in the International Modern Style, with a 1960s extension in a matching style to the northeast. The building is rendered and features a hipped tiled roof. It is mostly one storey, but the standout feature is a tall, squarish three-storey tower with rounded ends that terminate in circles above the second storey, giving the top a cruciform shape. The tower has slit windows on each side and a parapet with a wide fascia band below it. The entrance is slightly off-center and includes a curved horizontally glazed window, along with three plain doors and large glazed windows.
