Description
38 Bell Street is an early 18th-century house that stands two storeys tall with an attic and features five windows. The building is constructed of brick that has been painted white and has a tiled roof with two dormers. The sash windows are adorned with moulded wood architraves and glazing bars. Access to the main entrance is via three sideways steps with a handrail leading to a four-panel door, which has an oblong fanlight above it, all set beneath a bracketed flat hood. To the left of the main entrance is a similar mid-19th-century door, but this one does not have a hood. On the right side, there is a small shop window that also features glazing bars.
