Description

Horsehills Farmhouse is a house dating from the early 16th century, with an early 19th-century extension added across the front. The rear of the house is timber-framed on a plinth, with whitewashed brick infill between the exposed timber framing, which is of thin scantling. The front is clad in whitewashed brick, featuring dentilled eaves and plain tiled roofs that are parallel, with a half-hipped rear. There are end ridge stacks to the front, a large offset end stack to the right, and a stack to the left of centre on the rear. The house is two storeys high. The first floor has three segmental-headed glazing bar sash windows. Below, the outer bays have two tripartite glazing bar sash windows. A central six-panel door is set under a transome light and is sheltered by a gabled porch hood on braces.

The rear of the house has a gable end attic to the left, with one-storey and attic sections containing two lucarne windows to the right of centre. A catslide roof extends to the right end.
