Description
Collendean Farm House is a 16th-century house featuring a timber frame with red and brown brick cladding at the bottom and fishscale tile hanging above. The roof is restored with plain tiles and has a hip on the left side. There is a rebuilt stack positioned to the right of the center, along with another stack at the rear and one at the left end. The house has two storeys and a gable-lit attic at the right end. On the first floor, there are three 19th-century casement windows, with the left end window being lower than the others. To the left of the center, there is a half-glazed panelled door situated in a gabled open porch with brick plinth walls. A catslide extension is located at the left end, and there is a wing extending at right angles to the rear. Inside, the framing is mainly visible in the ceilings, and there is a deep brick fireplace.
