Description

Elm Grove is a building located on Old School Lane in Brockham, dating from around 1700 with significant alterations and additions made in the 19th century. The west front features a combination of a partly 19th-century façade and later 19th-century extensions. The building has three storeys and three windows, with tile hanging above and brickwork below. There is a chimney breast and an outshot on the northern wall, where the main structure connects to a smaller 18th-century building that has two storeys and a hipped tiled roof. This smaller building includes one three-light casement window, with the lower window set in a segmental arch. The entrance features a door with a pediment-shaped hood and is made of painted brick, with the possibility of timber framing within.
