Description

Birch Cottage is a 18th century building that likely incorporates an older structure. It has two storeys and features three windows. The exterior is faced with rough plaster and is topped with a tiled roof, which has a wooden modillion eaves cornice. The glazing bars on the windows are intact, and there is a brick chimney breast located at the south end of the cottage. A photograph of the building is available in the National Monuments Record.
