Description

This former farm building, located approximately 2 metres east of the former dairy attached to the rear of Park Farm House, is now used as a store. It likely dates from the late 17th century. The structure features a timber frame set on a plinth of red handmade brick, with some areas of brick nogging and weatherboarding. The building has a square plan and is a single storey high. It includes a timber sill, close-studded walls with passing braces, and herring-bone pattern nogging. The central stable door leads to a pyramidal roof. A modern addition is attached to the right-hand side. The left wall is weather-boarded, while the right-hand and end walls appear to be plastered. Each side wall has one 2-light window, and the rear wall has two similar windows, all featuring diamond-section iron saddle bars, although the window on the right-hand side is unglazed.
