Description
Westlands Farmhouse is a late 17th century two-storey house with attics, featuring a two-room plan and an end chimney, along with an outshot at the rear. The structure is timber-framed with square panels, some diagonal braces, and painted brick infilling. It has a tiled roof that includes three dormers and three casement windows. A modern porch has been added. Inside, the house has a butt purlin roof with butt rafters, and a stair ladder remains for access to the roof. The interior also features an inglenook fireplace with a seat and a large bread oven. The hearth beam and spine beam are decorated with elaborate stops.
