Description
This listing describes three lamp standards, 54 bollards, and a handrail located within the curtilage of properties numbered 22 to 100 on the south-east side of High Street. The plain iron handrail is supported by 19th-century cast-iron bollards featuring fluted columns. This handrail runs along the northern edge of the pavement, which occasionally rises several feet above the road level, accessible via narrow flights of brick steps. There is a double cast-iron lamp standard situated above a flight of steps outside No 54. Additionally, there is a single lamp standard outside Nos 94-96 and another lamp standard outside the premises occupied by Derek Gardner & Sons Ltd.
