Description
Two lamp standards located on the pavement outside the garden wall of Elm Grove House date from the late 19th century to early 20th century. They are made of cast iron, with the northern lamp featuring a panelled plinth and a fluted column, topped with a square lamp that has a cap and finial. The southern lamp has a plain plinth and column, but is similar in design to the northern lamp. These lamp standards, along with the Church Lane house, its walls and gate piers, and nearby properties, form a group with the wall opposite Serampore Place and the walls to No 35 and the bungalow.
