Description

20-26 South Street consists of two houses that are now jointly occupied. They were built in the early 19th century and are three storeys tall with five windows. The exterior is stuccoed, and there are modern shop fronts. Number 20 features long and short quoins, a cornice, and a parapet, with the glazing bars above the ground floor still intact. The other houses have an eaves bracket cornice and a hipped slate roof, though some of their glazing bars are missing. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 46 South Street.
