Description

This is probably a timber-framed building with a tiled roof, dating to an unknown period. It comprises a north-south wing and a higher east-west wing, the latter creating a peaked roof at the southern end. The building is two storeys high with an attic, featuring two dormer windows. The facade displays three sash windows with original glazing bars and visible window boxes on the first floor, and two three-light sash windows with side lights on the ground floor. A central doorway indicates the entrance. The building formerly served as a coaching inn, providing accommodation for coaches travelling from London to the coast.
