Description

Nos 5 and 6 on West Street are early 19th-century buildings featuring a double hipped slate roof with a central stack. They stand three storeys tall and have four windows, constructed of red brick. The sash windows retain their glazing bars and are set within reveals, topped by flat arches with rubbed brick dressings. There are aprons between the first and second storeys. The shop front for No 6 is from the 19th century and includes two doors with rectangular fanlights on the west side, flanked by stuccoed engaged columns. These buildings are included for their group value with Nos 1 to 7 on the street.
