Description
The building is a former house that has been extended and divided, now functioning as a shop. It dates from the late 16th century, with 20th-century extensions projecting to the front left. The structure is timber framed, featuring whitewashed render and cladding, along with whitewashed brick extensions. It has a plain tiled roof, with a flat felt roof over the extension. The building is two storeys high and has a cross wing at the right end. There is a rebuilt multiple ridge stack located to the right of the center.
On the first floor, there are two small casement windows on the left and one three-light, diamond-pane, leaded casement window on the right. A similar window is found on the ground floor to the right. The entrance consists of a planked door located at the center of the cross wing, which is sheltered by a gabled porch supported by thin wooden posts. To the left, there are plate glass shop windows in the single-storey extension, with glazed doors at the center and left end. The right-hand return front shows some small sections of the original framing. There is also a glazed porch at the center and a wing that extends at right angles to the rear left.
