Description
The garden walls located to the northwest of West Horsley Place date from the early 18th century. They are constructed of red brick, with some brown brick and blue headers, featuring brick-on-edge coping. The walls include a plinth and some panelled sections, and the southern stretch of the wall is buttressed. The south wall is straight, while the northern wall is serpentine, with two walls at right angles connecting them. There are two cambered head gateways, one on the south wall and another on the west wall. These walls are depicted on a map from around 1735 that is kept in the house.
