Description

The stone base to a cross, located 1 yard west of the south porch of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, dates from the 17th century. It is made of sandstone and has a square shape, measuring approximately 2½ feet by 18 inches in height. The top features a socket designed for a wooden cross.
