Description

The bridge over the River Tillingbourne, dated 1758 on the west side, is constructed of brown and red brick with stone coping. It features three arches, with the largest arch positioned at the center. The parapet walls are approximately 3½ feet high from the road surface and include end piers. The southern half of the bridge is located in Shalford Civil Parish, which was part of the former Guildford rural district, while the northern half falls within Guildford Borough, with the boundary running through the middle of the stream.
