Description
Tor Ridge is a lodge built in 1873 by G.E. Street, located on Horsham Road in Holmbury St Mary. The building features red brick at the base with ashlar stone dressings, and it is adorned with fishscale tile hanging above. The roof is plain tiled and has a stepped ridge cresting, topped by a tall central multiple ridge stack. There is a single-storey 20th-century extension on the left side. The ground floor includes two stone mullioned diamond-paned leaded casements, with one located on the right-hand return front and two above. A door is situated in the right corner of the right-hand return front, set within a porch recess. This lodge is included in the listing for its group value only.
