Description

The Limes is a house built in the early 19th century. It features red brick construction beneath a shallow pitched slate roof and stands two storeys high on a plinth. The building has end stacks and is composed of three bays, with recessed pseudo-pilasters at each end. There is a central pediment with a blocked thermal window in the gable. On the first floor, thin recessed panels flank a blocked window in the centre. Each floor has two 16-pane glazing bar sash windows, which are topped with gauged brick heads. The entrance consists of a central half-glazed door set within a round-topped trellis porch.
