Description
No. 19 Quarry Street is a 17th-century house that has been converted into offices. It features a timber frame and is clad in whitewashed render at the front, with weatherboard cladding on the right-hand return front. The building has plain tiled roofs and stands two storeys high with attics, while a basement is present at the rear due to the sloping ground. A notable feature is the fine central stack with six flues. In the attic storey, there is one cross casement window in each of the two gables, both with moulded hoods above. The first floor has outer leaded cross windows and two single light windows in the centre. The ground floor includes a slate-pentice, a horizontally-sliding sash window to the left, and panelled 19th-century doors at either end. The previous listing description noted pargetting on the front, which is no longer visible.
