Description

The garden wall and gate attached to the rear of Guildford House date from the late 17th century and 18th century, with repairs made in the 19th and 20th centuries. The structure is built of red brown brick and features D-shaped coping, with stone coping above the gate. It stands approximately 5 metres high and extends for 5 metres, featuring a gateway with a segmental head between pier buttresses that contains a panelled door. This structure is included for its group value with Guildford House.
