Description
The building is a garden temple from the 18th century, which was moved to its current location at Hatchlands in 1953. It is constructed of stone and features a stepped copper dome, sitting on a circular base. The temple is supported by six Doric columns and has a frieze with a tinglyph design. An inscription around the base states: "This temple was brought AD 1953 from Busbridge Hall to stand here as a memorial of Rose Ellen Cooper, 1863-1927, who long lived and loved Hatchlands, the house successively of her father and her son."
