Description

Sutton Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century. It features exposed timber framing with square panels, whitewashed brick infill, and plain tiled roofs. The building has two storeys and consists of four framed bays with a central ridge stack. On the first floor, there are four diamond-pane leaded casement windows, and there are four additional windows below, two of which are located to the right under pentice boards. To the left of centre, there is a ribbed door beneath a braced gable hood. The gable end displays a queen post truss.
