Description

This is a two-storey building dating from the 16th century, located on the east side of High Street in Ewell. It is constructed with plastered, jettied timber framing and has six casement windows. The three windows to the right are modern and have leaded glass. On the ground floor, from left to right, there is a door, a small modern shop, a sash window, another door, a modern sash window, a further door, and a final modern sash window. The roof is covered with old tiles. The section of number 15 on the right is not jettied and is double canted to the corner, as documented separately. Modern leaded windows are present, along with plain 19th-century shops. This building forms a group with numbers 9 to 17 (odd), the King William IV Public House, and number 21.
