Description
Lower Mill House is an early 18th-century building that originally served as a house attached to a now-demolished mill. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and has two storeys. The front has four sash windows set in cased frames. A central doorcase features a hood supported by shaped brackets and an ornamental fanlight. The roof is tiled, hipped, with two flat-topped dormers, and has a capped parapet. Large, plain stacks are present. The building is set back from the road and stands within its own grounds. The interior includes a staircase with turned balusters.
