Description

Weston Grange is a late 18th-century house with 19th-century additions, located on Weston Green Road in Thames Ditton, within the Borough of Elmbridge. The house is constructed of yellow brick with a stone-coped parapet and has hipped slate roofs, featuring rendered end stacks. It is arranged over two storeys with a plat band marking the base of the parapet. The building has five bays. The upper-floor windows are glazing bar sash windows with gauged heads and projecting cills. The ground-floor windows are original glazing bar sash windows. The central entrance features a six-panel door set within a projecting strip surround, topped by a fanlight with decorative ogee tracery. An arched doorway is defined by a keystone above, and a broken pediment sits above the door, supported by fluted Ionic pilasters. A 20th-century, lower, hipped roof extension has been added to the left side of the main block. This extension has glazing bar sash windows, with a blind panel to the first floor and a quarter-panel window below.
