Description

The Elms is an early 18th-century house located on Weston Green Road, Weston Green, in the Borough of Elmbridge. It is constructed of brown brick with red brick and rendered dressings, featuring hipped slate roofs partly concealed by a parapet. A stack is located at the left end. The building is two storeys high, with a plat band over the ground floor and a rendered cornice above the first floor. It comprises five bays, each with sash windows featuring glazing bars, set within gauged brick heads with rendered keystones and projecting stone sills. Gauged red brick aprons are positioned below the windows. A central half-glazed door is framed by an architrave, flanked by Doric pilasters, fluted in design, with a triglyph frieze above. Scrolls on the frieze above the pilasters support the cornice, and two metal hangers are positioned above the door. A garage addition is set back to the left end of the building.
