Description

The Chennell tomb, located 3 metres east of the Church of St Nicholas in Thames Ditton, is a Grade II listed chest tomb dedicated to William Chennell, dating from 1736. It is constructed of stone on a stone plinth and features an iron railed surround with urn finials at the corners and the centre of each side. The tomb has a flat lid with a moulded edge and gadrooned corner piers.
