Description

This is a late 18th-century house located on Lammas Lane in Esher. It is constructed of brown brick with red brick dressings, and has a stone-coped parapet. The roof is tiled, with parallel ridges and end stacks. The house is two storeys with an attic, featuring two flat-roofed dormers in the outer bays. The facade is divided into four bays, with a plat band running above the ground floor and to the base of the parapet. The first floor has glazing bar sash windows with gauged heads. A glazing bar sash window is set within an angled bay on the left side of the ground floor. A six-panel door is located on the right side, surmounted by a traceried fanlight within a deep reveal, featuring an open pediment and a thin pilaster strip surround. A flight of five stone steps leads to the entrance. A late 19th-century gable-fronted extension has been added to the left end, and a 20th-century double bow-fronted extension, matching the style of the original house, extends from the right side.
