Description
This barn and farmbuilding, located approximately 70 meters northeast of Duck End House, dates from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed from limestone rubble with marlstone-ashlar quoins and features roofs made of concrete plain tiles and Welsh slate. The barn consists of four bays and has full-height opposed double doors, along with an adjoining lower farmbuilding range. The barn includes slit vents in its side and gable walls, while the openings of the farmbuilding were obscured at the time of inspection. Inside, the barn has a butt-purlin roof supported by trusses with tiebeams and collars. This structure is included for its group value.
