Description

This is a dovecote, possibly dating from the early 16th century, located about 45 metres northwest of the Old Manor. It is constructed of rubble and features a Cotswold stone roof. The dovecote has a traditional cylindrical shape with a drip line approximately 1 metre below the eaves. There is a low entry on the south side and a weathervane on top. Inside, it is lined with nesting boxes, and it is said that a cross beam for a potence still survives.
