Description

A row of three houses located on Manor Road in Woodstock, dating from the late 17th and early 18th centuries with later alterations. The houses are built of coursed limestone rubble, with a gabled concrete tile roof and brick end and ridge stacks. They follow a three-unit plan, with two storeys and an attic, and a three-window front.

Number 59 has a 20th-century timber porch, a concrete lintel over the 20th-century front door, and a flat stone arch over a 20th-century casement window. Number 61 features a 20th-century lean-to porch, along with flat stone arches and timber lintels over its 20th-century casement windows. Number 63 has a flat stone arch over the front door and windows, and a timber lintel over a 20th-century casement. A sundial, featuring a worn moulded top and a metal gnomon, sits between numbers 61 and 63. The roof has gabled dormers.

At the rear of the properties are two late 18th-century two-storey wings, and an earlier 18th-century two-storey bay with a hipped roof. The interiors were not inspected but are thought to contain features of interest, including stop-chamfered spine beams with run-out stops.
