Description

Taynton House gate pier, located approximately 8 meters southeast of Taynton House, is likely from the late 18th century. It is constructed of stone ashlar and features a square design with chamfered rustication. The top is adorned with a cornice and a stone ball finial. This gate pier is one of a pair that flanks the main carriage entrance to Taynton House.
