Description
This building is a cartshed and granary located approximately 80 meters southeast of Duck End House, dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed from coursed squared limestone rubble and brick, with limestone-ashlar dressings, and features corrugated-sheet roofs. The structure is a single range with a two-bay granary section that includes an open cartshed at the ground floor. This open area is supported by a central post and a bressumer, with brickwork above. The right gable end has a granary door that is accessed by stone steps. To the left, there is a two-bay cartshed. Both sections of the building have steep-pitched roofs. Inside, the trusses feature tiebeams and collars, supporting two rows of butt purlins with through tenons, while the rafters are jointed at the ridge.
