Description
This structure consists of a wall and attached outbuildings located approximately 10 meters north of The Priory and St. Mary's Priory House. The wall dates from the late 17th century to the 18th century and includes sections from the mid 19th century. It is built from coursed limestone rubble.
Starting from the west, there is about 2.5 meters of late 17th century to 18th century wall featuring a dripcourse. Next is a 17th century outbuilding made of limestone rubble, topped with a gabled stone slate roof, which includes doveholes and a 20th century doorway at the rear. Following this is approximately 9 meters of mid 19th century wall that has a pointed arched doorway in the center, with an 18th century outbuilding of similar materials located at the rear. Finally, there is around 6 meters of late 17th century to 18th century wall, also with a dripcourse.
