Description

This dovecote, located approximately 5 meters east of Manor Farmhouse, dates back to the 17th century and was altered in the late 18th century to serve as a loosebox with a granary. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high, with timber lintels above a 19th-century plank door on the right and a late 18th-century plank loft door in the left gable end. There is also a late 18th-century outshut to the right, made from similar materials. Inside, the dovecote contains doveholes and an inserted loft floor.
