Description

The Cottage is a house that was originally three cottages, or possibly two cottages and a stable. It dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century and has been altered in the 18th century and late 20th century. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with a Cotswold stone roof and has a chimney on the left side. It is two storeys high and features three windows on the first floor, which are 20th-century casements. On the ground floor, there are three windows of the two-light chamfered mullion type, with the right-hand window stepped up from the others. There is a plain door located off centre to the left, which has a wood lintel above it, along with two blocked doors, one of which includes a transom light.
