Description

No. 24 Market Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of squared and coursed limestone and features a gabled Welsh slate roof with brick stacks at the ends. The building has a three-unit plan and stands three storeys high with a three-window range. To the right, there is a timber lintel above plank double doors, while a stone lintel is positioned over a central 20th-century door. The windows include early 19th-century eight-pane and six-pane sashes, with a 20th-century one-light casement located above the door. The house also has raised storey bands. The interior has not been inspected.
