Description

Park House is a rebuilt rectory, dating from 1816. It is constructed of marlstone ashlar with a Welsh-slate roof and ashlar gable stacks. The building is arranged around a central stair plan and has two storeys plus an attic. The symmetrical front façade has three windows and features a central 6-panel door with a decorative rectangular overlight and stone steps. It is accompanied by 12-pane sash windows. A lower, two-window service range is set back to the left. The roofs have gable parapets and roof dormers. The interior remains uninspected. Historical information relating to the property can be found in "Victoria County History: Oxfordshire, Volume XI, page 294."
