Description

This chest tomb, dating from the early 18th century, is made of limestone and is located approximately 3 meters south-southwest of the south porch of the Church of St. Bartholomew in Ducklington. The tomb features a revealed inscription panel, which is flanked by narrow panels, each adorned with carved cherubs' heads set above foliate scrolls. The rear panels are plain. It has a moulded plinth, cornice, and top, and it commemorates Henry Ballow, who died in 1718.
