Description

The Firkins is a small house, likely built in the early 18th century. It is constructed from colourwashed limestone rubble with wooden lintels and features a concrete plain-tile roof with a rubble gable stack. The house has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high. The front is irregular with two windows and includes a central doorway that is sheltered by a 20th-century porch. The windows are casements of varying sizes. At the rear, there are additional casements and a 20th-century dormer. Inside, the house has chamfered cross beams.
