Description
Eagle Lodge is a lodge built around 1860, constructed from limestone ashlar with a hipped Welsh slate roof and a stone internal stack. The building has a cruciform plan and is a single storey with a three-window range. It features Tuscan pilasters on the walls and a semi-circular porch supported by Tuscan columns, with niches on either side of the panelled door. The windows are 6-pane sashes set within moulded stone architraves. There is a 20th-century door located in a flat-roofed extension at the rear right. The interior has not been inspected. Blenheim Park, where the lodge is situated, is listed in the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission Register of Parks and Gardens at Grade I.
