Description

This chest tomb, dating from the mid-18th century, is located approximately 16 meters south-southwest of the south porch of the Church of St. Bartholomew in Ducklington. It is constructed from limestone and slate. The tomb features an oval slate inscription tablet set in the central panel, with corner balusters. There is also a square tablet at the rear and fielded oval panels on the ends.
