Description

The gatepiers and gates located approximately 600 metres southwest of Rousham House serve as the gateway to Rousham Park. These gatepiers date from the 18th century and are constructed from limestone ashlar, featuring a moulded plinth, cornice, and a ball finial. The iron gates, which were added in the late 19th century, mark the former entry to Rousham Park, which is recognized as Grade I on the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission Register of Parks and Gardens.
