Description

This chest tomb, dating from the mid-18th century, is located approximately 8.5 meters south of the chancel of the Church of St. Bartholomew in Ducklington. It is made of limestone and features two narrow fielded panels on either side of a central panel. The central panel has a worn inscription set within a rococo cartouche, which is adorned with cherubs' heads in the spandrels. The end panels and the rear also display similar cartouches.
